This DAC is a very high fidelity DAC.

This DAC uses a unique to HOTAUDIO.COM design that incorporates a "Wave-Shaper" technology that cleans up the S/PDIF signal so that it improves sound quality dramatically.

I believe it compares favorably to other DACs in its' price range and even a few that are several times as much money.

It is designed around a WOLFSON WM8501 DAC.

It is hand soldered with silver solder and all the components on this DAC are hand picked and hand matched to give you maximum audio performance.

I would rate this as a "high-fidelity" device giving you the best combination of warm sound, accuracy, and super low noise.

It works great plugged into your power amplifier, receiver or stereo system. I personally use a Tube amplifier as I believe they are the best sounding by far.

It has both GOLD stereo RCAs and a 3.5mm Headphone output. Both outputs can be used at the same time.
