I've used what the industry considers to be the most "jitter-free" digital input IC ( DIR9001 ) for the Digital Input Conversion, and a Wolfson DAC for doing the Digital to Analogue ( DAC ) conversion.

This DAC uses an RCA style 75 Ohm S/PDIF input so YOU MUST have that type of Digital Output available to use this DAC!
